Well I tried to think of a cleaver way to say this but when I got this picture from our photographer I knew it was all I needed:
We are expecting!
Baby Apple (as my friend is calling it) will be making His/Her apperance in July!
This is obviouisly a big change for Mac and I and has been quite the learning curve. I’m going to try not to make this blog to baby obbsessed but of course it will come up once or twice. If you want to hear everything baby including how we are trying to be eco-friendly feel free to check out my ‘secret blog’ which isn’t so secret anymore:
It’s been a learning curve as I said but really we have had it pretty good. At 12 weeks now I feel pretty ‘safe’ from morning sickness and praise the Lord I only had it for 4 days…those 4 days sucked though. Then I had a week of I didn’t know what was wrong…nothing sounded good everything made me feel sick and I could ‘only eat’ at fast food. Finaly I figured out it was the smells and cooking that was making me sick. i could eat fast food becuase I didn’t smell it cooking. After that Mac took over the cooking and its been pretty good since then.
We have decided to use a Midwife within the hospital setting, we saw her for the first time at 8 weeks and will see her again soon at 14, wow the second trimester is only 3 days away! I’m excited for the 2nd Trimster and working on the nursery. We have a lot of changes coming out way. But we will work through them together.
Congrats!!
Yay! Congratulations! We’re almost like baby buddies! 🙂 Wow, talk about starting the new year with good news. The first post under my google reader “friends” folder was your baby announcement post.
I think you and Mac are going to make great parents. It’s going to be a big change from being a two person family to a three person one and the beginning will be tough but you two will do fine. And you’ll love being parents so much. Baby Apple is so lucky that he/she will be born into such a loving family with parents who love and respect each other so much.
Good luck and have fun with the rest of the pregnancy! 2nd trimester is the best since you’ll have more energy and the bump will start to show AND you’ll start feeling the baby move (though first time moms can’t tell until almost 20 weeks).
Congrats! I’ll be reading your baby blog, too. 🙂
