So last month I decided to participate in C.R.A.F.T.S April Package Pal. Its like having a pen pal but with a fun package and only for one month. My partner was Jamie from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom. Check out the great kitchen towels she sent me!
But on to what I sent her, another version of my “I’m not a plastic bag’ bag. I went to my local Michaels and couldn’t find my normal canvas bag that I like to use so I used a smaller one. Jamie said she liked sping jewel tones and in my had that also ment flowers. so I decided to paint the back a little. But I can’t freehand paint….at all. I like stenciles, so I made one:
Then I used tape for some jewel tone stripes on the front and my iron on vinyl for the words just like my last two, the original and the first one with stripes
That’s really smart to use the vinyl as a stencil. I have always used freezer paper but you have to iron it on. The vinyl would be great for stuff you can’t iron!
