I’m so excited, I started ‘getting serious” about losing some weight when I hit 159.8 I did NOT want to hit 160. When people ask my why I want to lose weight my answer is always the same. “I’m 28 and NOT pregnant there are no reason to out-grow my clothes.” The truth of the matter is I have some nice stuff, a work wardrobe I’ve put some money into and I don’t want to have to buy all new clothes.
Now 10lbs lighter I’m at a weird point, the few things I bought 2 sizes bigger are far to big but I’m not yet back to my ‘old size.’ It’s quite annoying actually. I’m glad for the success but I would just like to be able to look at my closet and wear anything in it not just the things that I know will fit me.
Last week went well I hit the gym 3 times and also got in plenty of focused movement (cleaning yard work) on the off days.
I also had an opportunity to try a few things Mac would never eat, first our successful meal from last week that Mac did like:
I found this one on www.kraftfoods.com and it was a good one, it can feed up to 6 people but for us it was great because we had left overs for work!
French Onion-Pork Chop Skillet
So this is pretty ‘natural’ stuffing isn’t really but its not one of the worst foods either, maybe just a bit too much sodium.
This week I got to try a squash recipe since Mac wasn’t home. It was good, but a little bland so I added some Taco Sauce and then it was perfect.
