All natural boosters for your hair.

So have any of you tried a vinegar rinse before? Its great I do it about once a month or so to get rid of all the build up of product in my hair. Pretty easy wash your hair, rinse pour about a tablespoon of cider vinegar sit for 5 min, rinse and condition as normal.

So that is one I’ve used, but the other day I found this slide show on Whole Living that had some all natural color boosters. I’m thinking about trying one but I wanted to ask you guys first if you have ever tried anything? Here is the recipe I was going to try.

 1/2 cup cocoa powder,

 1/2 cup plain yogurt,

1 teaspoon honey,

  1 teaspoon apple-cider vinegar

Whip into a paste. Shampoo hair, squeeze out the water, and apply the mask. Keep it on for 2 to 3 minutes. Drape a towel around your neck to prevent the mask from dripping, as it may stain skin temporarily. Rinse, then style as usual.

What do you think? Have you tried anything like it?

  1. I haven’t tried that before. That would be interesting! You’ll have to let us know how it works out if you end up trying it.
