The Start of a garden.

Yea! My veggies are in (for the most part) and they haven’t died with our recent cold nights.  So far I’ve Planted Black Cherry Tomatoes, Green Zebra Tomatoes and a Bush Tomato Plant, Red and Green Peppers, Habanero Plants and one thing of butter lettuce just to try it. When I get back from Chicago this weekend I’m going to plant he herb seeds and the green beans!

Check out the fun colors of my tomato cages, they are such fun colors and they were the same price as the boring silver ones. I’m going to go back at the end of the season and hope they are on sale, I need two more for next year. I’m going to plant my green beans in a row in front of these plants.

Next year I hope to dig out another 6″-10′” to a brick line that is already laid but buried.

  1. I am so jealous! When we move we are losing our deck so even the decktop garden will not be a possibility. I will have to live vicariously through you!

  2. Yay! Congratulations! I know that you’ve been having a tough time with getting the garden going with the weather being cold and all. Glad to see that things are progressing well 🙂

  3. It looks great! Love the colorful cages. My plants are still so little and struggling through strong winds and heavy spring rains. Hoping they make it and eventually will produce some food for us! Thanks for joining the hop.
