iPad Case

I”ve been working on this for a while but I keep having problems with my sewing machine šŸ™ Well I gave up and finished it last night with the hot glue instead. FYI since this took forever I don’t have a tutorial, but I will be making another one and I will include a tutorial. Sorry šŸ™ But I will tell you that the base is a composition notebook cut apart and widened with Duct Tape.

Here is some of the detail, I wanted to rough it up a bit:

Here is the inside that I ended up gluing I wanted to hem it first but oh well.

  1. I love it – even if it was hot glued…and I don’t have an iPad šŸ™‚ I hope you get your sewing machine fixed soon, though. I’ve been having a lot of fun with mine recently, and I’d be pretty upset if it wasn’t working for me.

  2. Way to go! You can buy stuff to make fabric into an iron on which might be a little sturdier in the long run than the hot glue? And there is actual fabric glue that would work well too!!! I’m considering getting a kindle since I read so many books and we’re running out of room and this would be super cute!

  3. Awww, I’m super jealous that you have an iPad šŸ™‚ I can’t come up with enough reasons to get one yet so I’ll just have to wait.

You know, you are like a crafting idol to me. I just love all the little crafts that you make! It inspires me to want to get out my sewing machine and actually try use it to make things šŸ™‚ I totally love that iPad case šŸ™‚

  4. This is COOL! Normally when you see a case…its like the slip on kind. But I LOVE how this opens like a book. It actually reminds me of those folders that have a clip in it to clip a legal notepad. I like the patchwork look too! Nice job!
