Pictures 12-19/You Capture Yellow

It has rained 10 of the 13 days this month. I literally went outside during a break between showers yesterday. I got this idea right away after seeing the theme was yellow. However with the rain and the travels it got put on the back burner till last night….oops. Well here they are:

This it the sign that inspired it all.

This one is one of my favorites because I got to play with the shutter speed, and it worked!

Another one of my favorites.

  1. those are super fun! i really like the fire hydrant one and the one with the crosswalk-button-pole-thing…probably because of the car zooming by in the background.

you seem to have an eye for photos…good job πŸ™‚

  2. The fire hydrant and crosswalk one were my favourites, too!

I loved all of them. I've said it before, but I have to say it again… I heart your shoes!! πŸ˜€

  3. Oh, my inner shoe-devotee is DANCING FOR JOY. Those are GORGEOUS. I could see a couple of them framed in my guest bedroom, which is orange and Tiffany blue. I really, really love this creative idea. Blue ribbon from me!

  4. How fun! I actually really like the shot of the shoes on the arrow, kind of angled…something about the perspective in that one is great!

  5. Jackie~ There is a school in the Church near me and they park their buses there overnight. I just went on over and took the pictures πŸ˜‰ Thanks for the comments!

  6. i'll have to check out the rest of your blog and see if you do shoe shots other times, too. i take a lot of pix of our speech and debate kids at competition and we always include shoe shots. you're the first other person i've seen do the whole shoe shot thing – lol! i think it's cool and the shoes are really pretty!

come on over for a visit if you'd like. my yellow shots are posted now, too

  7. I love these shots! These are quite funny πŸ™‚ I love how you put your shoes in the shots. I totally love the hydrant one and the ones with the yellow arrows on the ground. It looks almost like someone was in a rush and they left their shoes behind πŸ™‚
